Channel 8 Digital TV in collaboration with JSL Global Media Company Limited chose the immortal love legend of Thung Phra Khanong, namely “Mae Nak” to be re-produced. This version was performed by actress “Baitoey Rsiam” (Suteewan Taveesin), acting as “Mae Nak”, and new handsome dark-skinned actor “Martin Midal”, acting as “Pho Mak”. These two actors performed together for the first time.
This drama also had “Mek Vinai Kraibutr” and “Sai Charoenpura” who used to play Mae Nak and Pho Mak in the past returning to perform together again. Moreover, many skillful actors gave supporting performances in this drama, including Sun Prachakorn Piyasakulkaew, Fahsai Ornjira Kaewsawang, Kratay Rsiam, Tae Pitisak, Pitchaporn Kittanathirun, King Konbai, Thanyawit Jenaksorn, etc. Additionally, Mae Nak was directed by “Pakasit Kingsak” who led the team to create this immortal quality work.
