At the ceremony, alms were offered to 9 monks and it ended with the merit-making activity by donating shoes to the students from schools located in the wilderness area.

This ceremony made everyone feel full of merit. The young male host named “Cee Siwat” who attended this merit-making activity mentioned his feeling that “I am so excited to attend this merit-making activity. I would like to thank P’Ton Lawan, the big boss of JSL who invited me, Amy and other actors to join the Kathina robe offering in tribute to His Majesty King Rama 9 and for building Ubosot in the middle of the lagoon. In addition to the Kathina robe offering, we also made merit by donating shoes to students throughout the country, totaling 1,500 pairs. Since we realized that the children at Ban Ja District who lived nearby the temple did not have enough shoes and socks, we were therefore a part of this activity to offer things to the children today. As we saw them smile, we were really happy and felt full of merit by making merit and donating”.
